Mariarosa Bricchi is Professor of History of the Italian Language at the University of Pavia. Her research interests include 19th and 20th century Italian language, examined through textual linguistics and authorial philology, with particular focus on the syntactic and textual architecture of literary prose, lexicography and grammar from the 18th century to the present, and the history of translation.
