Our work
Mobility and cooperation programmes
In collaboration with several partners—foundations, universities, and foreign academies—the Fondation Maison des Science de l’Homme (FMSH) offers mobility opportunities and develops scientific cooperation programmes to support the creation of international teams and researcher networks centred around joint projects.

Each year, it opens its doors to nearly 200 researchers, offering them an optimal working and living environment.

Diffusion of publications in the social sciences and humanities
The Diffusion department at FMSH ensures the dissemination and distribution of a catalogue of more than 30,000 titles in the humanities and social sciences, offered by 50 academic publishers. Each year, it promotes nearly 700 new books and journals to general and specialised bookstores, cultural operators, online retailers, and libraries.
Audiovisual dissemination of research
Since 2015, the FMSH has been developing the audiovisual E-platform Canal-U, the leading platform in France for audiovisual resources for higher education and research. Open to all knowledge-producing institutions looking to showcase their videos and podcasts, Canal-U offers exclusive access to French and Francophone scientific audiovisual content.
