Adam Takacs

Adam Takács is a Senior Lecturer in the Atelier Department of Interdisciplinary History at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. He received his PhD from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris and has held visiting positions in the USA, Canada, France, Romania, and China. His research focuses on various areas of contemporary continental philosophy and modern European intellectual history, such as 19th- and 20th-century French philosophy, phenomenology, and the philosophy of history.

The project

Title: Reflections on the ideas of “present time” in France at the beginning of the 20th century. A genealogy of contemporaneity.
