Viviana Mancovsky

Viviana Mancovsky holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Paris Nanterre in France and the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. She pursued postdoctoral studies at the University of Málaga in Spain with an ERASMUS MoE (Move on Education) fellowship. She is currently a professor and researcher at UNSAM and heads the "Institutional Analysis" course for the bachelor’s and master’s programs in educational sciences. She also serves as an academic advisor within the Academic Secretariat at UNTREF. In this capacity, she develops continuing education programs for university faculty focused on the analysis of professional practices. Her research interests include: pedagogical training for higher education faculty and the analysis of professional practices as a form of continuing education for teachers. She also works on doctoral training and the mentor-doctoral student relationship.

The project

Title: Design, Implementation, and Monitoring of Training Programs Focused on the Analysis of Professional Practice

"The purpose of this research project is to design, implement, and monitor a system for analyzing teaching practices among university professors who have completed the Specialization in University Teaching offered by the Academic Secretariat of the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero. In 2023, the team welcomed Prof. Arnaud Dubois from Université Paris Cité (France), who visited the university for working meetings with the entire research team. This exchange is part of the ongoing international collaborations between the two French and Argentine universities since 2016. In this context of research and training, it is worth noting that I was invited to join an international study group created and coordinated by Prof. Dubois, alongside six other colleagues from that university and others, as well as from the University of Quebec in Canada. Since March 2024, this group has aimed to reflect on and analyze various experiences in implementing these systems. These study sessions take place virtually on a monthly basis and continue to this day."
