Olha Zanevych

Olha Zanevych holds a PhD in Philology and is a Research Fellow at the Department of Ukrainian Language, I. Krypiakevych Institute of Ukrainian Studies, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Lviv). She was awarded the President of Ukraine’s Scholarship for Young Researchers (Kyiv, 2012–2014) and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize for Outstanding Young Researchers in the Field of Fundamental and Applied Research and Scientific and Technical Developments (Kyiv, 2018). Since 2010, she has been a member of the lexicographical group responsible for compiling and revising the Dictionary of the Ukrainian Language of the 16th and Early 17th Centuries. Her research focuses on the history of the Ukrainian language, Ukrainian manuscripts from the 16th and 17th centuries, historical lexicography, historical grammar, theoretical grammar (within the context of Slavic languages), and historical syntax.
