Invited Researcher of DEA Programme Stay in France: from October 26 to December 12, 2017
With a background in anthropology (MA at Paris V University) and history (PhD at EHESS), Nélia Dias is Professor of Anthropology at the Instituto Universitario de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL) and researcher at CRIA. She was Andrew W. Mellon Professor of Humanities (Tulane University), visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Sciences (Berlin) and the Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies (University of British Columbia) and will be, from February 2018, Visiting Fellow at the Center for French History and Culture (University of St. Andrews).
