Miguel Serna

Miguel Serna is a sociologist at the University of the Republic (Uruguay), a doctor of political science at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), a Level II researcher at the National Research System (Uruguay) and a full professor at the University of the Republic. He has published in Books and International Scientific Journals, on the left in the Southern Cone and Brazil, conducted comparative surveys of political elites and entrepreneurs in Uruguay and Latin America. Scholar of the Latin American Council of Social Sciences. Member of the Board of Directors of the Latin American Association of Sociology (ALAS), President of the School of Sociologists of Uruguay, Director of the Department of Sociology, University of the Republic.
