Karine Tinat

Invited Researcher of DEA Programme Stay in France from March 15th to April 30th, 2021

Karine Tinat (PhD) is a professor-researcher at the Center for Sociological Studies and Interdisciplinary Program for Gender Studies of El Colegio de México, since 2007. Her research work focuses on the sociology of the body, sexuality and food, gender studies and different constructions of the subject. She is an expert in qualitative methods, ethnographies, in-depth interviews and life stories.
