After studying history and anthropology, Jeanne Bonnet has been a PhD candidate in anthropology at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) and affiliated with the Centre d’Études Sud-Asiatiques et Himalayennes (CESAH) since October 2025. For her doctoral fieldwork, she is studying the Hindi language at INALCO and is continuing the research she began during her master’s degree on the relationships between animal husbandry, the classification of living beings, and reproduction.
