Daniel Ricardo Peñaranda is a historian, Doctor in Sociology. He is also a researcher at the Institute of Political Studies of the National University of Colombia and Associate Researcher at CADIS, consultant of the National Memory Center in Colombia, researcher of the research program "Quitting Violence" at the FMSH. He is also author of several works on armed conflicts in Colombia and Latin America.
