Jakhongir Babadjanov is a researcher and project expert specializing in agricultural economics, with a focus on green agriculture and environmental sustainability in agricultural production. He holds a master’s degree from Wageningen University (Netherlands) and a PhD from Justus Liebig University Giessen (Germany). He previously served as a lecturer at Tashkent State Agrarian University and worked as a research fellow at Westminster International University in Tashkent. Since 2025, he has been teaching at the International Agricultural University in Tashkent, which is supported by the Royal Agricultural University (UK). In addition to his academic career, Dr. Babadjanov has actively contributed to several international development projects implemented by organizations such as FAO, UNDP, and the European Union. Through this work, he has gained extensive experience in project implementation, applied research, and policy dialogue.
