Pierre Bayard is Professor of French Literature at Paris 8 University and a psychoanalyst. He has published some 15 essays, including Qui a tué Roger Ackroyd ? [Who Killed Roger Ackroyd?] (Minuit, 1998), Comment parler des livres que l’on n’a pas lus ? [How To Talk About Books You Haven't Read] (Minuit, 2007) and Le Plagiat par anticipation [Anticipatory Plagiarism] (Minuit, 2009). His most recent publication: Le Titanic fera naufrage [The Titanic Will Be Shipwrecked] (Minuit, 2016). His books have been translated into 30 languages.
