Natalia Kosmatska

After a master's degree at the National University of Chernivtsi Ioury Fedkovitch and a thesis in philology at the National University of Lviv Ivan Franko (2012), Natalia Kosmatska first worked as a research assistant and then as a lecturer at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Polytechnic Institute of Kiev Igor Sikorski". She continues her research in linguistics and regularly participates in international conferences in several Ukrainian universities. Since 2013, she is also director of the French Business Center in KPI Igor Sikorski.

Research project

"Youth literature, images and cinema"

Youth language practices and juvenile cultures require an approach that involves literature as well as literary variants, the arts, the media, the information and communication sciences. The interest of this project rests on the need to fill gaps in authentic data as well as an initial perception of literary and linguistic practices that make it possible to value diachronic perspectives, rethink the history of the image and the text and theorizing notions of rewriting, borrowing, and persistence.
