Florence Jany-Catrice

Biography

After studying economics (Lille1, College of Europe in Bruges, John Hopkins University in Baltimore), Florence Jany-Catrice was appointed Associate Professor in 1992, then Professor of Economics at the University of Lille. She conducts her research at Clersé (Lille Center for Economic and Sociological Studies and Research) -UMR 8019 around the quality economy (work, employment, services, wealth) and its measures. Florence Jany-Catrice chairs the French association of political economy. She is also visiting professor at Xi'An University, China.

Research Project

• Analysis of the long-term unemployed zero territory project in very urban areas (2018-2020, project financed by DARES, Project Manager).
• The Socioeconomic Impact of Public Libraries (2018-2020, project funded by BPI, Project Manager).
