Visiting Scholar at the chair of Ethics and finance
Elisabeth Franco-Gressieux graduated from ESCP Europe in France in 1997 and from Complutense University in Madrid (Spain) where she completed two Master's degrees in Financial Markets and Asset Management and Social Responsibility of Banks.
She spent the first 15 years of her career at various banking institutions, including Société Générale, essentially in internal auditing and organisation and strategy advisory roles in a dozen countries.
She is presently a PhD student at HEC Montréal (Canada) in the Ethical Management Chair. She is also a lecturer and teaches degree courses at the Catholic universities of Paris and Angers on the subjects of management, corporate culture and business ethics.
Her thesis questions the implicit postulates of certain financial products or types of financial transactions in order to explain different world outlooks and the results generated by market finance in comparison with other types of finance.
