Alina LAPUSHKINA

Alina Lapushkina is research fellow, social anthropologist, africanist, history consultant of the traditional Avatime people Council (Volta region, Ghana), author of the first book about the historical dynamic of the Avatime culture. Graduated from Russian State University for the humanities in 2014, obtained a doctoral degree (PhD) in the Institute for African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2023. Organized field work in Ghana, Uganda, Moldova and Russia (Yamalo-Nenets autonomous region); took part in international conferences as a participant and head of the panels: ASAUK (Cambridge), EASA "New anthropological horizons in and beyond Europe" (Lisbon), "Identities" (Texas); ECAS "Africa: Connections and Disruptions" (Edinburgh), AFSAAP (Perth, Western Australia), ASAI (Pavia) and others.
