Le voyage secret du Docteur Jivago. Le roman du roman

On the occasion of the publication of Le voyage secret du Docteur Jivago. Le roman du roman by Paolo Mancosu, published on November 17 in the collection 54 by Éditions de la MSH, the Fondation Maison des sciences de l'homme is organizing an evening presentation of the book.

This session of Books in Dialogue will bring together the author of the book, Paolo Mancosu, and Marjorie Bertin, a journalist at RFI.

• A book full of suspense, which relies on the correspondence between the various actors to trace the incredible story of the publication of Boris Pasternak's masterpiece.
• Unpublished sources, making this the most complete and up-to-date book on these issues.
• A preface by Maurice Aymard, a great French historian, which puts this book in the context of the Cold War.
• The unique and necessary testimony of the courage that such an editorial enterprise required, under the yoke of the USSR.
