Lecturer and Head of the Department of Geography at the École Normale Supérieure of the University of Maroua in Cameroon, Félix Watang Zieba is a specialist in migration issues and the socio-spatial dynamics they generate in the savannahs of Central Africa. He recently contributed to the drafting of the reference study on the Lake Chad region to the Boko Haram test led by Géraud Magrin and Marc-Antoine Perouse de Montclos. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Centre for African Studies in Leyden, Holland and at the MIGRINTER Laboratory at the University of Poitiers in France. He has conducted several studies on behalf of international development agencies in the context of Boko Haram-related insecurity.
