Ákos Cseke

Ákos Cseke defended his doctoral thesis in medieval philosophy at the University of Sorbonne Paris-IV in 2005. He is the author of eight books on philosophy in Hungarian including a monograph on the last Foucault. He has translated into Hungarian, among others, Le courage de la vérité by Michel Foucault, Exercices spirituels et philosophie antique and Plotin ou la simplicité du regard of Pierre Hadot, La croisée du visible by J.-L. Marion and L'inoubliable et l'inespéré of J.-L. Chrétien. Currently he teaches at Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Budapest, Hungary.
