Nicolas Bas Martin

Doctor in History, Nicolas Bas Martin becomes in 2010 professor of the University of Valencia. Since 2017 he is professor of the Department of History of Science and Documentation of the University of Valencia. He has been invited by ENS Paris (2012, 2017) and Queen Mary of the University of London (2014, 2015).

His research projects are aimed at the history of books and publishing in the eighteenth century, both in terms of the circulation of books and ideas during the Age of Enlightenment and on the image of Spain in eighteenth-century Europe throughout the world of the book, that is to say on the presence of Spanish books in the Catalogs of booksellers, private libraries, auctions, etc.
