Lena Magnone

Lena Magnone defended her doctoral thesis in literary studies (2007) and obtained her postdoctoral degree (habilitation) in Humanities (2017) at the University of Warsaw in Poland, where she worked as an assistant professor until 2020. After a Fulbright fellowship at the New York University, she settled in Germany, first as a Humboldt fellow and now as a research associate professor at the Institute for Slavic Studies at the University of Oldenburg. Thanks to DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) PRIME fellowship, she is now a visiting scholar at the Sorbonne Université, completing her book manuscript about transnational female modernism in Central Europe at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
