An alumna of the École Normale Supérieure in Pisa, Isabella Lazzarini teaches medieval history at the University of Molise in Italy and is a member of the doctoral college in Historical and Archaeological Sciences at the University of Bologna (DISCI). She has also been a visiting professor at the École Nationale des Chartes (2014) and at Paris IV (2020), a fellow at Villa I Tatti, The Harvard Center for the Italian Renaissance Studies in Florence (1999-2000), and visiting fellow at All Souls College, Oxford (2012).
