Le suivi archéologique des chantiers de réseaux

What is the role of archaeology today? What are the moral obligations of archaeologists towards various publics? Our thematic dossier, which will be published as an issue of the journal Les Nouvelles de l'Archéologie, seeks to bring together contributions from researchers who are examining these questions, focusing on the issues involved in participatory archaeology.

In this issue, entitled "Le suivi archéologique des chantiers de réseaux", we will be highlighting projects defined as "community archaeology", an expression that we did not want to use in French because it can have a different meaning.
