"Amérique(s)" Collection

“Amérique(s)” aims to inspire original research on the vast region of the Americas, from the southern tip of South America to northern Canada, in the humanities and social sciences. It covers a wide range of disciplines, from anthropology to economics, from sociology to archaeology, and includes such topics as cultural practices, the intricate connections between society and the environment, discussions on gender, and the challenges of architecture.

The collection is also committed to translating works deemed to be of importance in these fields, and rare in the French-speaking world of research.

Priority is therefore given to authors from the Americas, who have the opportunity to connect their fieldwork to diasporas and the world system, for instance by shedding light on cross-border interactions.

The Amérique(s) collection documents and analyses the Americas, providing keys to understanding its various territories, that, while distinct from one another, remain interconnected.
