The FMSH suspends its activity on social network X
A committed choice to defend reliable information and preserve the quality of democratic debate
Since its creation, the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme has always remained faithful to its vocation: to disseminate reliable scientific knowledge in order to enlighten public debate and enrich pluralist dialogue.
Today, the social network X encourages misinformation and promotes a political agenda that threatens the quality of debate and democracy.
In keeping with this commitment, the Foundation has therefore decided, with effect from today, Monday 20 January 2025, to suspend its activity on social network X.
The Foundation will continue to address the public via other social networks, such as its Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts, while exploring alternatives such as Bluesky. At the same time, the Foundation is inviting its subscribers to sign up for its monthly newsletter.
