The Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme and Éditions Antipodes are organising an evening to present Pied-à-terre. Une expédition à bord de l'Océan Viking, published on 26 September 2024 in the "Trajectoires" collection.

This ‘"Livres en dialogue“ session will bring together the author of the book, Marie-Morgane Adatte (MarieMo), and Thibaut Sardier, a journalist in the ”Ideas’ department of Libération.

After the meeting, you will have the opportunity to ask our guests any questions you may have. The meeting will be followed by a convivial moment.

About the book

In February 2023, MarieMo boarded the Océan Viking, a humanitarian ship belonging to SOS Méditerranée Suisse, for a 25-day mission. During the trip, she kept a logbook in which she drew and wrote about the daily life of the sea rescue teams and life on board the ship. On her return, she began work on her next comic strip, dedicated to the theme of migration across the Mediterranean, based on all the material collected during her journey.
