The platforms accessed through this page are theme-specific, dedicated to topics that can rouse interest among the social sciences and humanities as well as decision-makers, social stakeholders and a wider public. Their purpose is to host research, develop national and international networks, and form partnerships with both French and non-French institutions and foundations.
As venues for knowledge production and innovative dialogue, they organize activities and meetings – workshops, seminars, expert assessments, international colloquia – aimed in particular at initiating dialogue with decision-makers and practitioners.
These platforms constitute one of the FMSH’s main initiatives and a priority for its policy on research and forecasting.

International panel on social progress is tasked with producing a report on the state of social progress worldwide and to make recommendations for international organizations, transnational stakeholders, public and private decision-makers, and civil society.
Education & digital media deals with the economic, institutional, pedagogical and even cognitive issues that digital media pose for public education policy. It employs a variety of approaches to foster debate over the notion of innovation in education and to understand how conceptions of innovation change in line with the changes in education systems themselves and the development of learning tools.
