The FMSH suports the scientific community impacted by the war in Ukraine

 

In solidarity with researchers affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Fondation Maison des sciences de l'homme is redeploying its reception facilities in order to respond to the emergency (financial support for mobility, research residency at the Maison Suger – Paris 6th arrondissement) .

Mobility aids

Call for application | Programme Atlas - Impeded researches | Postdoctoral fellowship

The Atlas program offers short-term fellowships of two or three months in France for international postdoc researchers who have presented their thesis from 2016. The research stay is designed to enable researchers to conduct research studies in France: field enquiries, library and archives work. 

Laureates will receive a monthly stipend of €1600 to cover expenditure such as transport and accommodation costs. In addition, the FMSH provides support for visa and logistical support to organise the stay.

 

Call for application | Programme DEA - Impeded researches | Research fellowship

The DEA program enables foreign scientific professionals from all continents to be invited for a period of four to six weeks to support their work in the SHS in France.

A monthly allowance of €3400 is awarded for transport and living expenses. In addition, the FMSH provides support for visa applications and logistics.

 


Research residency

Maison Suger - International research residency for foreign researchers

The FMSH is committed to welcome researchers forced to leave Ukraine, Russia or Belarus and who wish to settle temporarily in Paris. Three studios are immediately available in order to meet requests for emergency residence. In the coming weeks and months, the Maison Suger will adapt its reception system according to the requests and needs.
