The project

Title: Study of Neo-Assyrian and Neo-Babylonian objects kept in the Bibliothèque nationale de France and the Musée du Louvre

"I would like to work on a catalogue dealing with a temporary exhibition organised in the Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest. In addition, I would like to study the objects lent by the Bibliothèque nationale de France and the Musée du Louvre to the exhibition that I co-curate and which would feature in the exhibition catalogue co-edited and author by me.
Since April 2022, we have been planning the temporary exhibition entitled Mesopotamia: Kingdom of Gods and Demons that will take place in the Museum of Fine Arts, Budapest, between 26 September 2024 and 2 February 2025. Our main objective is to present the ancient Mesopotamian heritage, the culture that represents the cradle of civilisation, constituting the cultural reservoir for the Bible and thus exerting an indirect influence on European culture."
