The project

Title: Reconstruction of economic and cultural processes of the Neolithic-Eneolithic population of the Saksaulskaya 1 site in Western Kazakhstan

The theoretical basis of the study is the historical and cultural approach. Archaeological complexes are considered as the result of human activity, due to a number of external factors. The main research method is a comparative analysis using classification and typology. Field research methods - planigraphic and relative chronology. Additionally, the traceological method is used to determine the functional purpose of the stone inventory. The classification of the collection of stone tools is based on generally accepted concepts and developments proposed and used in the description of stone tools in the works of G. F. Korobkova, L. Ya. Krizhevskaya, G. N. Matyushin, A. V. Vinogradov, V. F. Zeibert, S.S. Kalieva, V.N. Logvin, V.K. Merz and other researchers.
