Gözde Orhan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Sciences / Common Courses at Altinbas University, Istanbul. Graduating from the Department of Economics at the Yildiz Technical University in 2006, she received her M.A. (2008) and Ph.D. (2017) degrees from the Atatürk Institute for Modern Turkish History at Bogazici University. Her dissertation is titled “The Production of Space in Dersim in the 2000s.”
