Adedeji Victor Adebayo holds a doctorate degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He has taught in leading post-primary schools in different parts of the country. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Peace and Security Studies, Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti state, south-west, Nigeria. Adedeji is also a fellow with the French Institute for Research in Africa (IFRA-Nigeria).
