Laureate of the 2023 ‘Arts & SHS’ call for proposals, the project ‘From the Neighbourhood to the Desert’ examines ceremonies inspired by Wixárika (or Huichol) culture, centred on the consumption of peyote (a cactus with hallucinogenic properties) and carried out in the desert by young people and adults associated with the communities of San Luis Potosí.
