GRETS (Groupe de Recherche Energie Technologie et Société) is a social science research team (sociology, political science, semiology, anthropology, linguistics) belonging to EDF's Research & Development Division. It conducts studies and research on behalf of EDF, on subjects of interest to the EDF Group: customers, markets, environment, sustainable development, consumption, public opinion, consultation, societal changes, uses and lifestyles, and company-society interactions.
Open to a wide audience (EDF and other companies or institutions), these seminars are free to attend and form an interface between the worlds of business and academic research, these seminars have four objectives:
To present and disseminate recent studies and research in the social sciences on topics of interest to various corporate players;
Promote exchanges and confrontations between researchers from universities, CNRS and companies;
Bringing together researchers and research “users” (from different business sectors: marketing, sales, strategy, environment, human resources) during and beyond the seminars, and promoting the dissemination of human and social sciences in business;
Promote debate and openness, through a diversity of themes and disciplinary approaches, and access to a wide audience.
