Viewpoints on the transformation of business relations in the digital era

This research program, run by the GATE L-SE (UMR 5824) and CERCRID (UIMR 5137) research groups, asks the question of renewal (or not) of economic and legal reflections on legislation in Europe in the digital era. To respond, a meeting of minds of jurists, IT professionals, and economists will be useful for better getting to grips with structural challenges brought about by this technology.

Two main questions are raised: firstly, does an optimal way exist to qualify virtual money? And secondly, does the the blockchain protocol question the foundations of contract and property law?
