The FMSH joins the network of AUF members

As an associate member, the FMSH will now participate in the AUF's General Assembly in an advisory capacity and will be eligible for AUF calls for proposals and funding.

The AUF, created 60 years ago, brings together more than 1,000 universities, grandes écoles, university networks, and scientific research centers in 115 countries, using the French language and contributing to the influence of the French-speaking world of science.

This collaboration was initiated in order to carry out joint actions, and in view of the great proximity of the scientific axes developed by our two institutions, as well as the values promoted.

Indeed, the AUF's 2021-2025 strategy and new statutes identify issues and priorities that directly echo the initiatives carried out or planned by the FMSH: the promotion of a participatory and intergenerational approach to research, a network dynamic, support for researchers in exile, the implementation of mechanisms for the promotion and popularization of research, etc.

The FMSH is delighted with this new partnership, which will help increase its impact on society, strengthen the dynamism of its actions, and complement existing mechanisms.
