During the health crisis, the Foundation Maison des sciences de l'homme stays active to support research and the dissemination of knowledge in humanities. You'll find below the actions taken by the FMSH as well as the measures taken to ensure the safety of its workers and visitors.

Buildings opening

In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the priority of the Fondation Maison des sciences de l'Homme goes to the health and protection of all its personnel and its public. In line with government health recommendations related to the Covid-19 virus, the Fondation Maison des sciences de l'homme has closed its doors to the public since Monday, March 16th and canceled the scientific events scheduled from Friday, March 13th until the end of the health crisis.

As of May 11th, 2020, the FMSH is implementing its progressive deconfinement plan in accordance with government recommendations. The measures taken are likely to be modified depending on the evolution of the health crisis. We will let you know on this page.

Reopening of the FMSH Charenton site

FMSH Diffusion, headquartered in Charenton-le-Pont and closed to the public, resumes its service on site.

Orders are once again open on the website of the University press counter.

Reopening of the Maison Suger

The Maison Suger will reopen its doors on September 1st 2020. Applications made before closure are being processed for September and the following months. We recommand that applications be filled out and sent under short notice so that they can be processed as soon as possible.

54 bd Raspail remains closed

The 54 boulevard Raspail building remains closed to the public as a precaution and its team continues to work from home.

Conferences, seminars and study days and all non-essential travels are suspended face-to-face and are continued by videoconference until further notice.

Reopening of the Maison Suger

The Maison Suger will be reopening on September 1st. As of now, applications that were submitted before our closure for the month of September and the following months will be processed.
We recommend that our colleagues send us their applications as soon as possible so that we can process them as soon as possible.

Appointment of Laetitia Atlani-Duault to the scientific comities in charge of advising the government

Laetitia Atlani-Duault, scientific director of the FMSH, was appointed as a member of both of the scientific comities in charge of providing guidance to the government regarding the management of the sanitary crisis due to Covid-19 : the scientific council and the analysis, research and expertise comity (CARE)

Continuance of the activity

The teams of the foundation stay active during this time by working from home in order to maintain, as much as possible, scientific and administrative activities.
