Launched in 2025 by the Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme, the Oceans Programme aims to highlight the essential and distinctive contribution of the humanities and social sciences to ocean conservation. It seeks to place these disciplines at the heart of efforts to understand the human dynamics driving ocean degradation and to support the co-creation of sustainable and inclusive solutions with relevant stakeholders.
