The project
Title: Intercultural philosophy in France: Paul Masson-Oursel as an intercultural philosopher
Intercultural approach helps to identify the existential and historical roots of the diverse thought practices known as “philosophy”, to better understand its texts and ideas, as well as its cultural horizons within which they arose and developed. The study of the concepts of those thinkers who could be called the direct precursors of the intercultural approach in philosophy is an essential part of the Project. The goal of the Project is a study of the research method of intercultural philosophy in the works of the famous French orientalist and philosopher, a pioneer of comparative philosophy, Paul Masson-Oursel.
