Arienne Dwyer

Arienne Dwyer est professeure d'anthropologie linguistique et a cofondé et dirigé pendant sept ans un institut des sciences humaines numériques à l'Université du Kansas. Elle était auparavant boursière Humboldt et chercheuse postdoctorale en turcologie et en linguistique documentaire à l'Université de Mayence, en Allemagne. Spécialiste de la convergence linguistique et des idéologies linguistiques, elle collabore depuis plus de vingt ans avec des communautés du nord du Tibet et du Turkestan chinois (Xinjiang) pour analyser des données parlées sur une douzaine de langues en danger en contact avec des langues majoritaires. Elle est coauteure d'un manuel de langue ouïghoure et enseignante en documentation en langues autochtones et en éthique des données.
