For the past decade, a considerable number of whites people believe they are victims of "anti-white racism" or "reverse discrimination." This discourse, which has its roots in the 18th century United States, has enjoyed a resurgence with Donald Trump since 2008. Today, it inspires many white supremacists, many times criminal, on an international scale (Anders Behring Breivik, author of the tragic attack that killed 77 people in Oslo in 2010, is an emblematic figure). In France, this discourse finds an echo in the media on the occasion of polemics launched by the FN (in 2019 for example, Lilian Thuram was accused of anti-white racism for having denounced white privilege).
