Musa Sroor

Musa Sroor est titulaire d'un doctorat en histoire contemporaine de l'université d'Aix-Marseille (2005) et enseigne à l'université de Birzeit. Il a été chef du Département d'histoire et d'archéologie et directeur du programme de master en histoire arabo-islamique à l'université de Birzeit pendant sept ans.

Chercheur associé à l'Institut de recherches et d'études sur le monde arabe et musulman (IREMAM), il a également été professeur et chercheur invité dans de nombreuses universités françaises et arabes. Ses travaux scientifiques, publiés en arabe, français et anglais, portent principalement sur la Palestine ottomane, avec un intérêt particulier pour les questions de dotations, de propriété immobilière et pour les sources historiques permettant d'écrire l'histoire de cette période.
