Judith Beyer

Judith Beyer est spécialiste d'anthropologie politique et juridique. Elle mène des recherches ethnographiques sur le long terme en Asie centrale (Kirghizistan) et en Asie du Sud-Est (Myanmar). Elle est Juniorprofessor en anthropologie (tenure track) à l'université de Constance en Allemagne. Auparavant, elle a occupé un poste de maître de conférences à l'Université Martin-Luther de Halle-Wittenberg. Jusqu'en 2010, elle était chargée de recherche du groupe de projet «Legal Pluralism» à l'Institut Max Planck d'anthropologie sociale. Elle a effectué des études d'anthropologie, de droit et de slavonie à l'Université de Tübingen en Allemagne et à l'Université américaine d'Asie centrale (AUCA) au Kirghizistan.
