Pierre Siklos

Pierre Siklos est professeur d'économie à l'Université Wilfrid Laurier (Canada), il a obtenu son doctorat en 1981 (PhD, Carleton University, Ottawa). Il est spécialisé dans la macroéconomie (étude de l'inflation, des banques centrales, des marchés financiers). Ses recherches ont été financées par des organismes nationaux et internationaux et publiées par diverses institutions et banques centrales. Il a été invité comme Visiting fellow ou Researcher dans de nombreuses universités en Europe, Amérique du Nord, Australie et Nouvelle-Zélande.  Erskine Fellow à l'Université de Canterbury (1999),  William Evans Fellow à l'Université d'Otago (2009) à Dunedin (NZ).

Titulaire de la chaire de la Fondation de la Bundesbank pour l'économie monétaire internationale à la Freie Universität de Berlin (2008). Depuis 2008, il est membre du Conseil de la politique monétaire de l'Institut C.D. Howe, où il est chercheur depuis août 2010. Il est également Senior Fellow au Centre pour l'innovation dans la gouvernance internationale (CIGI). En 2015, il a été chercheur invité à la Bank for International Settlements, chercheur national à la Hoover Institution de l'université de Stanford, chercheur invité à l'université de Tasmanie et à la Banque du Japon. Il a été directeur du Centre européen de recherche Viessmann de 2005 à 2014.
