Olivier De Schutter

M. De Schutter est professeur de droit à l'Université de Louvain (UCL). Il a été professeur invité à l'Université de Columbia (2008-2013) et à l'UC Berkeley (2013-2014), où il a contribué au lancement du Berkeley Food Institute. M. De Schutter a été Rapporteur spécial des Nations Unies sur le droit à l'alimentation du Conseil des droits de l'homme entre 2008 et 2014. Expert des droits économiques et sociaux et de la mondialisation économique et des droits de l'homme, il a été élu membre du Comité des droits économiques, sociaux et culturels des Nations Unies (2015-2018). Il copréside également le Groupe international d'experts sur les systèmes alimentaires durables (IPES-Food), un groupe d'experts de haut niveau travaillant selon une approche transdisciplinaire pour élaborer des évaluations et des propositions de réforme des systèmes alimentaires.
