Violetta Cavalli Sforza

Chercheuse invitée 2019 du programme DEA

Violetta Cavalli-Sforza est en possession de deux maîtrises, en génie civile (1981) et informatique (1985), de l’Université de Stanford et successivement d’une maîtrise (1991) e d’un doctorat (1998) de l’Université de Pittsburgh en Systèmes Intelligents. Programmeur entretemps dans les laboratoires de recherche de Digital Equipment Corporation (1985-1988) et chercheur à l’Université de Carnegie Mellon (1994-1999, 2003-2007) en plus d’activités d’enseignement, recherche, consultation et travail industriel, depuis 2008 elle enseigne à l’Université Al Akhawayn à Ifrane. Elle a été engagée dans plusieurs projets sur les langues et le traitement automatique du langage naturel pendant son parcours. Ses intérêts immédiats entre autre incluent aussi les nouvelles techniques et technologies d’apprentissage.

Titre : Wiktionnaire informatique français–arabe-berbère en sciences sociales et humaines

Mots-clés :Traitement du langage naturel, ontologies, variation linguistiques dans l’espace et le temps, apprentissages (des langues) soutenu par l’ordinateur, visualisation des informations dans l’enseignement et nouvelles techniques d’apprentissage.
