The digital humanities are a field of research, teaching and engineering at the crossroads of computer science and the arts, letters and human and social sciences.

They are characterized by methods and practices related to the use and development of digital tools in the humanities and social sciences, online and offline, as well as by the desire to take into account new digital content and media, at the same title as more traditional objects of study.

The blockchain technology
This project raises the question of the renewal (or not) of economic and legal reflections in Europe in terms of regulations in the digital age.

 

Savoirs
Savoirs is an intelligent digital library, dedicated to the history and anthropology of knowledge, from an interdisciplinary and comparative perspective.

 

French-Arab-Berber Wiktionary
A project to promote dialogue between North African and French researchers, pool their knowledge of the cultures on both shores of the Mediterranean and provide a basis for thinking about lexical practices in these different scientific and cultural contexts.

 

For a digital and qualitative mediation platform for the corpus of Open and Massive Data in HSS
The digital divide (also the digital deficiency) greatly influences the question of completeness, which can amplify the phenomenon of relevance. This project therefore proposes the creation of an Open Data, intelligent, interactive platform of digital data corpus for users and research uses in SHS.

 

New Uses of digital and Continuity!
While researchers, administrators and companies have been working for decades to develop distance learning tools, no one could anticipate the transformations brought about by sudden confinement and the problems that have arisen afterwards and will continue to arise. . These challenges gave birth to the NUNC! project, which aims to assess the realities of the appropriation of digital techniques for distance education.

 

Combining distant reading and distant viewing: using neural networks to analyze the evolution of arts/sciences relations in the Leonardo journal
The objective of this program is to analyze the evolution of arts/sciences relations from published texts and images in order to propose new methodologies for the analysis of newspapers.

 

ERAUHS
The ERAUHS project aims to develop the new concept of 5D model. This concept is based on 3D visual reproduction, to which are added first-person movement and sound reproduction. This exploratory work aims to advance research in digital restitution and model a new documentary-type media.

 

E-TIC
Digital technology is disrupting our industries, our services, our consumption patterns, our behaviors, it is profoundly changing our access to knowledge, health, information and even our relationship with others. The E-TIC project wishes to reflect on how the values of general interest, ecology, solidarity, sovereignty, democracy, can be at the heart of this transformation.

ETHICA - Unfettered research
The Ethica project is a web application offering an augmented digital version of Spinoza’s Ethics. The commentary of the 100 participating thinkers constitutes a unique map of Spinoza research in the early 21st century, translated into 12 languages and accessible to all users.
