Why do people become researchers? How do the careers of those who devote their lives to understanding the world take shape? What are they looking for, and why?

This collection of podcasts entitled "Matières Premières" opens the doors to their intimacy: their youth, their journey, their choices, their encounters. And with their stories, we want to bring the worlds of citizens closer to those of research in the field of human and social sciences.

In this second episode, discover the career of Sandra Laugier. Born in Paris in 1961, she is a philosopher of language and professor of philosophy at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She is particularly interested in the ordinary and care.
