Pietro Castelli Gattinara is Assistant Professor at the Centre for Research on Extremism (C-Rex), University of Oslo. He holds an M.S. in Migration and Ethnic Relations from Utrecht University and a Ph.D. in Political and Social Sciences from the European University Institute. From 2015 to 2017, he has been a Research Fellow at the Centre on Social Movement Studies (COSMOS), at Scuola Normale Superiore in Florence, where he worked on collective action during political crises.
Paula Diehl (PhD Humboldt University) is responsible for the area “Theory, History, and Culture of the Political” at the University of Bielefeld in Germany. She graduated in sociology and in communication studies and works in Political Theory from an interdisciplinary perspective. Diehl was Principal Investigator of the projects “Conceptualizing the Political Imaginary”, “Symbolism of Democracy”, and “Populism between Fascism and Democracy”.
