A new collaboration with the IIAS in Leiden

A partnership for a joint post-graduate fellowship

The Collège d’études mondiales of the Fondation Maison des sciences de l’homme in Paris and the International  Institute for Asian Studies (IIAS) in Leiden are glad to announce their partnership for a joint post-graduate fellowship, which includes a maximum number of ten months at IIAS, immediately followed by a stay of two months in Paris.

The position of affiliated fellow is intended for outstanding researchers from around the world, to work on an important aspect of Asian studies research in the social sciences and humanities. Interdisciplinary interests are encouraged.

Scholars who are interested in working at both the IIAS and the Collège in Paris should specify in the IIAS fellowship application form the reasons of their request to spend an extra two months in Paris (French archives or collections consultation, contacts with specific museum or institutions deeply linked to their research…) as well as the Collège chair-holder to work with in Paris.

Deadlines for applications are 1st October and 1st March.
